what kind of labyrinth is this?

i am wearing your heart on my sleeve. literally.
anyways, now getting totally into a different realm here. i recently discovered a huge catalog of music that i have been ignoring. some of this is now my new obsession, meaning that once again i will probably sell a bunch of my cds to obtain the genre that i am now obsessive with. man, i am such a wasteful person with my music.
i absolutely loved tristeza in high school. especially "dream signal in full circles"...and then i listened to "spine and sensory" and "a colores" today and became pretty entranced. it has this enigmatic and pleasant rhythm to it. that's how i ever began to like the early cereberus shoal stuff, as well as explosions in the sky, certain mogwai stuff, bark psychosis, godspeed you black emporer!, and silver mt. zion....
i also have found myself appreciating blonde redhead again. this is one of those bands that i go through phases with. "in an expression of the inexpressible" is one of those albums that i always put on my wishlist, but never cared to actually purchase. perhaps i will change my mind on it. i just love how my favorite album is one that i never see listed for blonde redhead stuff (la mia vita violenta!) currently i am listening to cornelius though, who happened to put out a new album recently. i have been hoping to eventually check that out. while "drop" was not necessarily as big of a smash for me, i still like lots of things about that album...especially the idea of it sounding so acoustic and natural.

i have a meeting in 50 minutes. yeah.
