something like a phenomenon

first--i know that most people that read this are my ultimate buds, so i figured i'd just put it up here. 9:00 emerald lanes this saturday (march 10th) be there!

i owe you big, buttars! i can listen to npr again at work, thanks to these headphones. the last ones i gave up on since they'd cut out repeatedly...this whole week i've had to go without. i cried a few times. it was very, very sad.
...(i didn't really cry. i'm not that much of a wuss)....
cassie (my coworker) even said, "you got headphones? about time!!!"

point being, i appreciated you going to see the "epic movie" with me! what fun! you are such a dear!

things to know for the day...or whatever.

BLACK BOOKS

there is something about this show that instantly won me over. perhaps its because bernard is constantly drinking, or the fact that everyone is a little nuts on the show. either way, it found its way into my heart. most people i've shown this show to havn't necessarily found it that amusing, but more along the lines of insane and bizarre. either way, i recommend it. just look through the BBC stuff.

CRISPIN GLOVER

yes. he's back from the future. he's still wild at heart. he was in epic movie. he was the creepiest version of willy wonka that anyone could have ever imagined. what bothered me the most was i KNEW i had seen him in something before...but i kept thinking, "what movie was he in exactly????"
in the process of looking up a picture of crispin through google search, i noticed there is this alliance of dorks that are obsessely focused on how he should play the next joker in any batman film. i do admit that based on their crucial evidence, i am convinced that he WOULD play a great joker. however, i waste my time on boozing and mspaint art. they wasted it on actually finding crispin and making him do a joker impression. this is the evidence of my findings.

NATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

yes. today is national women's day. i didn't know this until tessa randomly yelled this out about 3 minutes ago. i figured i'd let it be known. i suppose i am celebrating by hanging out with my mom and going shopping for clothing to make me feel as though i fit in with my society more by dressing based on the standards that they set for me. should i purge now, or later? oh, and don't worry...i'm being sarcastic. msn seems to have also agreed that it must be a day to be celebrated. yes! celebrate by buying her those DIAMOND EARRINGS! nothing screams, "thanks for dealing with the years of oppression and anguish of childbirth" quite the same!
freaking corporate bullshit.

oh yeah, and i finally made my myspace site slightly readable. its still made to be scary. or something. i think i'm finally going to change the music. for awhile i had the dead texan, which was amazing. it just made me a little sleepy though when working on any add-ons for the page. the dead texan is still one of my favorite bands/releases in probably the last 8 years. i've got to give that out to many people. if you love mogwai, explosions in the sky, godspeed you black emporer!, stars of the lid, brian eno, back psychosis...anything like that, you'll probably love this.

i've been meaning to add poetry on here. i've been writing poetry more and more again lately. nothing too great, but something at least. i figure i'll put it up here soon for all of you to badger around. there is still the stuff on artconspiracy.com those poems though are about 3-4 years old, and my style has continually become more and more insane. i should probably take more poetry classes...

and thank you to aurora for finding this, as well as all the awesome people that took these pictures and submitted them online! here is the link to check it out more..
