overdrafting sucks, but i deserve it for not keeping track of when i submitted my stupid student loan payments. it is just money. money really means nothing in the end...
bowling for my birthday?
yesterday i talked to jason appelman finally about the film (doing the soundtrack). i was hoping he'd call, considering i had yet to hear anything about it this month, and the film was supposed to be in progress currently. it ended up being a rather good thing.
jason: "so i feel bad because i havn't listened to your tape yet to see what i want in the film or not. i don't have a tape deck anymore."
me: "if i can find a microphone or the right connection for my computer, i'll take my microcassette recorder and run all those songs through that, no problem. that way i can get you a cd. i just don't have a computer."
jason: "that'd be cool. its okay if not. we havn't got into filming yet. we actually are possibly getting more funding, so we've been waiting it out."
me: "oh sweet!"
jason: "yeah! we could end up having more money on the film and the promotional stuff. i'll keep you in contact with it either way."
me: "oh sweet!"
jason: "yeah!"
me: "rad!!!"
jason: "...yeah!"
so its funny. while one big thing happened yesterday that irritated me, another good thing happened. it all balances out, really. like i said...its just money. i can't really get annoyed anymore about it...although i know more things are going to go through and lead me more into that -$580 sort of zone. yikes. i can't do much about it though. i'm not going to complain at this point...
i also think of it this way: i have yet to do my taxes. after that, things should be very nice. i'm guesstimating a good amount back, so i think things will be fine.
you really can never be too upset after you had a very fun and wonderful evening!
